The Samsung MEC Series is economical and gentle on the environment. The MEC Series' edge-type LED features LED lamps located on the sides of the panel. The lamps emit light on the display sides, resulting in a much thinner screen that requires fewer lamps than conventional panels. With fewer LED lamps, power consumption and heat emission are reduced and a slim, lightweight design can be achieved. With these improvements, a more enjoyable environment can be created for viewers in close proximity to the displays.
